Our Mission	What Unity Teaches: Unity has an extremely positive approach to life, seeking to accept the good in every situation and every person. Our main “textbook” is the Bible, which teaches lessons that relate to our daily lives. Unity believes that God is Spirit. Spirit is the life principle,the breath of the Almighty, animating all forms of life and the universe itself. God is the sole Creator, the source of all good. The world and all within it are expressions of this Universal Presence. God is everywhere present (omnipresent), the one and only Spirit behind, in and through all things, visible and invisible. Prayer is not seen as a technique for changing God, but a way to expand and transform ourselves. Much emphasis is placed on the effective power every thought, feeling, word and act has upon your life. The action of your mind affects your body and all circumstances. Unity holds that one’s Higher Self, who is the True Self, is divine and spiritual. It is this Self that is Divine Mind’s perfect idea, the same Self that in Genesis is spoken of as the image and likeness of God. Unity emphasizes the divine potential within each person. Who We Are
Unity is a worldwide Christian spiritual teaching organization that is over a century old. Unity teaches a practical, positive approach to life, based on the teachings of the Master Teacher, Jesus. The Christ is not Jesus’ last name, but the spiritual expression of man’s innate ability to achieve conscious contact with God, the Universal Creator. Our focus is on spiritual, mental, emotional and physical wholeness. We are part of the Association of Unity Churches and Unity School of Christianity and Silent Unity, publishers of The Daily Word.
What We Offer Sunday Celebration Services A time to come together and celebrate God. A time to behold the Christ Spirit in one another. A time of contemporary uplifting music. Youth Programs A time for children to recognize their spiritual gifts. A time to be creative as they celebrate God’s joy! Unikids, Uniteens and Y.O.U. programs, retreats and camps. Prayer Support Prayer ministers are available to pray with you personally. Counseling Spiritual counseling is available with Barbara Weiss, Licensed Unity Teachers. Evening, Afternoon and Sunday Classes Educational classes in spiritual growth, metaphysical Bible studies, and book discussions on the works of New Thought authors, and many more.
